POLICIES

GENERAL
CHECK-IN: 4:00 pm
CHECK-OUT: 11:00 am
AGE REQUIREMENT:
Primary guest must be 18 years of age to book a cabin and provide proper identification upon arrival.
RATES:
Are on a per night basis. They do not include a 7.5% Overnight Accommodation Tax.
ROOM CAPACITY:
Guests are not allowed to exceed the declared room capacity on the reservation page unless consent is given by our staff.
EXTRA GUESTS:
Our rates are based on an occupancy of 2 guests. For cabins allowing more than 2 guests, we charge $20 for each additional guest per night up to the maximum occupancy rate for each cabin.
FORMS OF PAYMENT:
We only accept the following for payment AMEX, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or cash. No personal checks.
HOUSEKEEPING AND DAMAGE
HOUSEKEEPING:
Daily housekeeping service is not provided. It is your responsibility to maintain the cabin in a neat and clean condition throughout your stay. During stays with multiple days, we will only refresh towels upon request. If unusual and/or excessive cleaning is necessary, there may be an additional charge to your credit card on file.
KITCHEN CLEANING POLICY:
Upon check-out, all dishes (including, but not limited to, pots, pans, utensils, coffee pot, plates, bowls, and cups) must be washed or a cleaning fee of $50 will be charged.
ROOM DAMAGE, MISSING ITEMS, AND EXCESSIVE CLEANING:
If rooms are damaged or left extremely dirty during a stay, guests will be charged the amount it costs to replace damaged item + $50/hr. labor fees to return room to its original state. This includes missing/damaged bedding, towels, windows, window screens, appliances, fixtures, furniture, doors, lights, mirrors, etc. If you notice any problems upon checking in, please let us know immediately to avoid any damages being charged to your account.
CONDUCT
NOISE:
Please respect guests in other cabins by not approaching their cabin and by controlling noise levels, especially between the hours of 10PM and 7AM. If you are bothering other guests, you may be asked to leave the property without a refund of any money.
PETS:
We do not allow pets at our property at this time. If you are found to have brought your pet you will be asked to immediately leave with no refund given. There will also be an extra $200 pet fee added to your bill.
SMOKING:
For the comfort and safety of our guests Arctic Dragonfly Inn is an entirely Smoke-free facility. Smoking, including the use of e-cigarets and marijuana, is not permitted inside our cabins or on property. A $500 cleaning fee will be added to your bill if smoking was detected in these areas. Please properly discard cigarette butts.
FURNITURE AND ELECTRONICS:
Moving of furniture, décor, appliances, or other objects inside or outside of the cabin is prohibited. Do not disconnect or alter any electronic items. Failure to comply with this policy will be treated as Room Damage and the appropriate policy will apply.
EQUIPMENT AND NATURE
MALFUNCTION OF EQUIPMENT:
We do our best to make sure all amenities are in good working order. Occasionally electronics, internet, appliances and other mechanical equipment will malfunction. We will do our best to repair these items in a timely manner, but will not make any rental concession for time without these items. Likewise, loss of electricity, water, or other “Acts of God” that are outside of our control will not result in a refund of any monies paid. We ask that you follow all guidelines and policies regarding use of amenities in order to keep them functioning at peak efficiency. Failure to do so may result in damage or excessive cleaning charges.
WIFI:
Due to the remoteness of our location, WIFI may not always be available and speeds may vary.
WILDLIFE:
Our cabins are located in a rural area, which is surrounded by woods. As a result, there may be some insects, other visitors, or other wildlife in or around the cabins at times. Please properly dispose of trash and food in trash cans in order to help keep any unwanted guests from coming inside or around the property.
WEATHER AND POWER OUTAGES:
Bad weather conditions may make travel to the Denali area difficult. In addition, occasional power outages or other “Acts of God” that are outside of our control will not result in a refund of any monies paid. We will do our best to make your stay comfortable.
LIABILITY AND ACCESS
RIGHT TO ENTER:
Arctic Dragonfly Inn and its staff and/or agents reserve the right to enter the rented cabins at any time with or without proper notice provided, with or without guest’s consent, to inspect the property or perform routine maintenance as needed.
RESTRICTED AREAS:
Our cabins may have private areas (such as a storage closets, out buildings, and/or heavy equipment). Any attempt to enter these areas will be reported to the Alaska State Troopers and will be charged for breaking and entering private property.
LIABILITY:
Renter agrees to assume all responsibility for an accident, injury, or damage that may result in or about the premises, to persons or property (including those of Renter’s guests), and that the Owner and its agents shall not be held liable, or responsible for such injury, accident, or damage. Renter assumes the risk involved with the use of decks and porches, trail systems, and any and all other rental facilities and agrees to hold harmless and indemnify the Owner and its agents from any and all claims and liability of any nature which may arise by reason of the use by the renter or others using the same during renters occupancy. Owner is not responsible for loss of money or valuables or any kind. Renter assumes responsibility of all guests during the reservation time.
SAFETY
HUNTING:
Hunting of any kind is not permitted on the property.
FIREWORKS AND FIREARMS:
No shooting fireworks or firearms on the property. This includes BB/pellet, airsoft, and paintball guns. We also do not allow any type of archery equipment on the property.
ATV’S AND MOTORCYCLES:
All-terrain vehicles, 4-wheelers, motorcycles or other recreational vehicles may not be used on the property at any time. Only the use of motorcycles as a mode of transportation to the cabins are permitted.
CAMPFIRES:
Absolutely no fires are permitted on property.
CANCELLATION POLICY
All reservations require payment in full at time of booking. You may cancel or change your reservation up to 30 days prior and receive a 50% refund. Cancellations or changes received within 30 days of arrival are non-refundable. We strongly recommend travel insurance for unforeseen circumstances that may cause last-minute cancellations. If you made your reservation through a 3rd party travel service, the Arctic Dragonfly Inn may not be able to assist in your modification. Changes and cancellations to 3rd party reservations must be requested by the 3rd party. For assistance with cancellations, please send an email to arcticdragonflyinn@gmail.com. All refunds will be issued to the original form of payment.
When payments are made with cash, a check will be sent to the address on file. Refunds may take up to 30 days.
